This is a game that I and Sam Berube made for LoJam 2019, in which you play as a young necromancer - your goal is to raise the dead to be your friends and help vanquish your enemies!

Controls: 

  • WASD / Arrow keys to move around
  • CTRL to raise the dead (from tombstones or bones) - hold to charge up! drains your mana but longer charge-ups give the undead more hit points!
  • Mouse click to direct your allies to go to that location / attack that enemy
  • 1 to explode red undead allies

Walkthrough:

You are unable to battle your enemies directly, but you'll find some tombstones close the start - use your summoning ability to raise undead allies, then click on enemies to instruct your allies to attack them. 

Inspiration:

The theme of LoJam 2019 was games that help promote and inspire positive mental health, and particularly the idea that "healing is not linear" - therefore we wanted to create a game in which you gradually build up a support group that helps combat your demons. At times the size of your support group may be reduced, but you'll always be able to build it back up again.
